Ideal Living in Native Plains
May 26, 2021
Finding your dream home is not always an easy task, but when the Tramel family walked into their Ideal floor plan for the first time, they knew it was exactly what they wanted.
Jessica and Kenny Tramel, and their two daughters, have lived in Native Plains, an Ideal Homes & Neighborhoods community in Moore, OK, since October 2019. But this isn’t Kenny’s first home with us. He has lived in an Ideal Home since 2004. Though they checked out many homes before making their final decision, Jessica said, “there was not one home that we looked at that we didn’t have to change something big about the house to make it function. The second we walked into a Kincaid; we knew that it was what we wanted.”
More than a year later, they love their custom home and all the amenities of the neighborhood. “If you ask me what I love about my new home the most, it would be the openness of the house and the kitchen. If you ask my husband, it would be the 3-car garage that he uses as his shop to rebuild his 1945 truck,” Jessica said.
The Tramel’s like living in Native Plains for many reasons. The neighborhood is close to everything they could need or want, but still far enough away they can enjoy quiet living. “Everything important is within five miles, but it’s still so quiet and peaceful. I love that when I’m outside gardening or just relaxing… all I hear is kids playing and I hear no traffic,” Jessica said.
Another perk, the neighborhood regularly hosts special events to get together and promote community bonding. The homeowners bring in food trucks so everyone can come outside, mingle, and catch up. It’s a great way to meet new people and get some fresh air at the playground or the walking trails.
Though Covid put a damper on spending the time with all the neighbors, things are slowly moving back in the right direction. The Tramel girls have a lot of friends in the neighborhood, so they are looking forward to a more fun-filled summer.
If you are in the market for a new home, Native Plains currently has homes under construction. Homes in the neighborhood start in the $280K range.
