When you’re looking for a new home, what is on your must-have list? How about a great school and community, family-friendly neighborhood, and let’s not forget the amenities? At Ideal Homes & Neighborhoods we already include community pools in some neighborhoods, inclusive playgrounds, splash pads, and walking trails, but at the International Builders’ Show, new trends and ideas were brought to the forefront.

Zack Roach, Vice President of Development, and Trish Morris, Director of Development, have the scoop. Morris said, “We saw some really cool ideas to do hammock gardens which will be neat to put those in our amenities to allow parents to relax while the kids play on our cool playgrounds. We’re going to give those a shot this year.”

“We saw lots of pollinator gardens, natural spaces that Ideal has been incorporating already, so it was good to know that a lot of our peers in the industry are utilizing that and we’re on the right track,” said Roach.
