If you’re lucky enough to live in Ideal Homes’ Dow’s Hills addition in Washington, Oklahoma, you’re living in a small town with lots of personality, history, and great places to eat. We’ve found some local favorites where you’ll find good company and a great meal or two (or three!).

A cute little café right in the heart of town. Enjoy a variety of burgers, sandwiches, salads, and breakfast items in a relaxing, fun atmosphere. Freshly baked pastries on hand all day, as well as a daily brew of Eote Coffee.

The family-owned, small-batch, small-town coffee roastery and shop. Organic, fair-trade beans are roasted daily to ensure the highest quality in each cup served. An old family building in Washington renovated into a small-town roastery and café just off Main Street. Stop by the cabin for a cup or get your beans delivered to your door.

This sno cone stand serves more than just your mid-summer sweet tooth situated at the corner of Morehead Ave. and Main St. With breakfast items, coffee, smoothies, and more, it hits the right spot any time of day right in the heart of Washington.

To quote their website, “We serve gut-busting good American comfort food with red dirt music and a down-home feel.” Libby’s offers two different dining rooms: for a down-home dining experience, choose to stay downstairs and enjoy vintage Oklahoma décor and a family meal. Want some fun in your evening? Head upstairs to the full bar and outdoor patio, complete with pool tables, flat-screen TVs, and live music. Libby’s is all about satisfying your appetite for great quality and great-tasting meals served with a smile. And Libby’s is a fantastic lunch spot, too.

A staple in Oklahoma -- providing quality smoked meats steeped in tradition and great, deep flavor. Oklahoma’s oldest barbeque restaurant is continuously owned and operated by the same family. Enjoy good barbeque – hickory-smoked ribs, brisket, and Pig Sandwiches – along with a little nostalgia and lots of secret sauces.

Wings, greens, skillets, specialty pizzas, and more will tempt your tastebuds at Pryor’s Pizza. A historic Oklahoma business honoring the legacy of its founder and the county’s storied past. Enjoy a little history along with some great coal-fired pizza!

Family-owned restaurant serving home-style cooking for more than 30 years. Famous for its chicken fried steak (and the challenge), cinnamon rolls, and fried catfish. Known as one of the “most haunted” buildings in Oklahoma. History, food, and relationships make up the tapestry of what Kendall’s is all about!
