Choctaw has six beautiful parks with space for sports programs, playgrounds and pavilions for any occasion. Choctaw Creek Park 2001 N. Harper Rd. – between 10th St. and 23rd St.. largest of Choctaw’s parks New playground completed in 2018 18-hole disc golf course – players can choose 9-, 18- or 27-hole games and options are available for novice, advanced and pro-level players. Pavilions for gatherings and events include is a large pavilion in the center of the park that is the main location for many of the festivals in the park, including Oktoberfest and the Haunted Trails in October. This pavilion is available for rent year-round to host special events with family and friends. The park also includes small- and medium-sized pavilions available for rent elsewhere in the park that are perfect for birthdays and fundraisers. Optimist ParkLocated on N.E. 10th St., between Henney Rd. and Hiwassee Rd.Sports field, playground, benches, picnic tables and pavilion.Bouse Park/Alexis Clark Water Park Located off Indian Meridian between NE 10th and NE 23rd St. This vibrant-colored splash pad is open 8 a.m. – 7 p.m., seven days a week from Memorial Day through Labor Day.New in 2018: Enjoy the fun playground near the splash pad.Ten Acre Lake Located on 10th St. between Choctaw Rd. and Indian Meridian.Amenities include a stocked fishing lake, picnic tables, a pavilion and playground. Lloyd Williamson Park 14653 Dean Street – behind Choctaw Senior Citizens Center – in the middle of Choctaw’s Old Town district.Playground, picnic tables and benches.Barrel Springs Splash Pad Located at the corner of Main St. and Gilbert – near the Choctaw Public Library -- in the heart of Choctaw’s Old Town district. Park open daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Covered picnic tables. Choctaw is also close to many of the major play opportunities in Oklahoma City, including a range of opportunities at the Oklahoma River.
