Sedalia’s Oyster & Seafood

Named one of 24 Best New Restaurants by Bon Appétit in 2023

Yes, you can find great seafood in landlocked states! Don’t be fooled by Sedalia’s Oyster & Seafood, located in an unassuming spot off 10th Street by a lumber store and a baking supply company. It’s even inside a storage space that also houses Playground Equipment, the owners’ family business.

Once inside Sedalia’s, you’ll find an ever-changing, handwritten menu with dishes like scallop crudo, grilled wild Australian prawns, and olive oil trifle for dessert. The oysters and focaccia bread are not to be missed, according to rave reviews on Google.
