On July 2, enjoy more fun family days of adventure, whitewater rafting and surfing, traditional Fourth of July lawn games, ice cream, and a watermelon eating contest. Hot dog and hamburger cookout at 6 pm, live music at 7:30 pm, fireworks display at dusk.

An uplifting musical celebration of Independence Day! 60 minutes of musical variety sure to bring joy to the whole family. From America the Beautiful to Star Wars, there’ll be something for everyone. Bring your own family picnic or purchase food from the food trucks. No fireworks display this year, so kids with sensitivity to the loud noises of firecrackers might enjoy this event … plenty of room to play and enjoy the music.

Many communities, churches, country clubs, and other venues offer fireworks during the 4th of July weekend. Grab your lawn chairs, picnic basket, favorite soft beverage, and head out to explore your options! And you might want to throw in a pair of sound-proofing headphones for the kids who cringe at the volume of the fireworks. That way, everyone can enjoy it. Have a happy, safe, ideal Fourth of July!
