Featured Floor Plan: Glenwood Preserve
June 5, 2015
Here at Ideal Homes we are proud to present another one of our newest floor plans out at The Preserve, a new home community in Moore, Oklahoma. This home is nearly 3000 square feet with flexible spaces and great design details. There are options everywhere in this new home to make it compatible with a multitude of needs. Storage really is the name of the game with the Glenwood Preserve floor plan, from its oversized 3-car garage with additional storage space to its large pantry, spacious closets, and optional his and hers master walk-in closets. It also has spacious hallway closets and optional built-ins. Designer details equipped for family function include 10’ vaulted ceilings throughout the house to give a voluminous feel, a fireplace in family room, a breakfast room off the kitchen, and a covered patio off the breakfast room. Options abound to make the space exactly what you need. This home can have 3, 4, or 5 bedrooms. If you opt for a 3-bedroom layout, you have all the bedrooms streamlined on one side while all the family and entertainment space take up the other side of the home. This layout gives you a formal dining room and a study. You can even add built-in bookshelves into the study. The kitchen is the hub of the house with vaulted ceilings, spacious island, open site lines throughout the family room and breakfast room, and access to not just a large walk-in pantry but also another closet for storage. If you need 4 bedrooms there are several ways to create that space. Need a mother-in-law suite? No problem turn the study into a complete retreat with its own en-suite bathroom. While you lose the big walk-in pantry, you do gain a full en-suite bathroom, another closet in the hall, and of course the closet space in the new 4th bedroom. Do you want to keep your study, powder room, and walk in pantry? Turn the formal dining room into bedroom number four. You can even bump your formal bedroom over to where the study is with a wide doorway right across from the kitchen. There are just so many choices. Need a study area for the kids? An additional flex space exists across from bedroom number three. A built-in desk can replace the hall closet and bump out the closet in bedroom 2 to create more storage space. It’s a win-win all the way around. Do you want to know all your options in the master suite? There are several! This luxurious master has its own vestibule entry off the family room for privacy and separation. The sitting room can be outfitted with comfy wing back chairs for reading a book. Or if one large walk-in closet isn’t enough, convert the sitting area into a second closet for him. The five-piece bath features a large corner tub with a window box option to create a larger ledge to hold all those bath bombs, candles, and books for spending long relaxing alone time in the bath. There is even an upstairs bonus room with an optional half bath. Man Cave? Game room? Kid's play room? Craft space? I'm sure you can find a way to use that space. We just love the flexibility of this floor plan, and we think you will too. Set up an appointment with Elena and begin to envision how your family will use this amazing space.
