Holiday Fun Around Oklahoma City
December 20, 2013
If you've got the decorations up and have had an overload of cookies and holiday movies, think about going out for some family fun and enjoy what Oklahoma City has to offer. Try out some snow tubing. Chesapeake Energy's Snow Tubing at the Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark is one of the largest man-made tubing slopes in the country. For just $10 you get a 90 minute snow tubing session. For more information check out Downtown in December. If snow tubing is not your thing, and ice skating is more your speed, head on over to the Devon Ice Rink in the Myriad Botanical Gardens. Whether you want to take part in daily public skating, host a party or have some rocking good fun at Rock 'n' Skate with a live DJ from 6 - 9 p.m every Friday night until January 3rd, this could be the fun winter holiday activity for the whole family. Check out more details here. This Saturday December 21st is the last chance to take the kids to Santa's Workshop at Devon Energy Center. The kids can create a variety of holiday crafts, send letters to the North Pole, enjoy live holiday music and take a ride on Devon's Polar Express. Check here for more details. And of course the holidays wouldn't be complete without amazing holiday light displays. You can look back over suggestions from last year, and see what you may have missed! Take some time to enjoy the fun in and around Oklahoma City. There's nothing like the holidays.
