If you own a home built in the last 23 years (especially an Ideal home), you might qualify for a trade-up program offered by Ideal Homes & Neighborhoods! If your home qualifies, Ideal will buy your existing home from you while you wait for your new Ideal home to be complete!
That means:
- You don’t have to move twice
- You don’t have to show your home to potential buyers
- You don’t have to risk double mortgages
- You have the confidence to move forward with a new home you love
- If there are any unforeseen delays in construction, you’re not without a home for that time period
How does it work?
- We can get you in contact with the team at Sterling Real Estate to find out if your home qualifies for the trade-up program
- Decide if you want to make repairs to your home yourself or let Sterling Real Estate do the work for you
- If qualified, Ideal Homes & Neighborhoods (though Sterling Real Estate) will offer you a price for your home
- Sign a contract for a new IDEAL home and pay the earnest money
- Sign a contract with Sterling Real Estate for Ideal Homes & Neighborhoods to buy your property with a closing date the same as your new IDEAL home
- Move out of your existing home and into your brand-new IDEAL home!
How much will I get for my existing home?
Sterling Real Estate will use current comps in your area to determine the price they believe your home will sell for. Ideal Homes & Neighborhoods will offer you a percentage of this price. The percentage is based on several factors outlined by Sterling Real Estate in the offer.
