New Community Coming Soon to Moore: Abbot Lake

Ideal Homes and Neighborhoods is excited to announce our newest neighborhood coming to east Moore, Abbot Lake. Located near Sooner Road and SE 89th Street, it offers great proximity to I-240 and Tinker Air Force Base. It also offers quick access to downtown Oklahoma City and Norman, all within about 15 minutes. Abbot Lake falls within Moore Public Schools, which is a top-rated school district in the Oklahoma Metro area. Students will attend the following schools:

• Sooner Elementary
• Highland East Junior High
• Moore High School

In a recent Ideal Podcast episode, Steve Shoemaker (President of Ideal Homes and Neighborhoods) and Zack Roach (Vide President of Community Development) discussed the plans that are in progress for this community including the inspiration behind the scenes, think Dawson's Creek. The plan will feature a large pond with a fishing dock in the middle with plenty of green space and common areas as well as standard amenities like a playground, splash pad, pavilion, and ball field. Approximately 360 homesites will be available by the end of planning and construction. The first section release is slated for December 2020 with 60 homesites available including premium sites that will back up to the central pond.
