Spring Festivals, Activities, and Fun Around Oklahoma City

Believe it or not, spring is here, and with it a wide variety of festivals abound in and around the Oklahoma City metro area just steps away from some of our most popular communities. 2nd Friday Circuit of Art - Not far from Carrington Place, Green Leaf Trails, Red Canyon Ranch and Trail Woods in Norman is the 2nd Friday Circuit of Art. During this monthly free event the whole city of Norman is transformed into an arts district featuring local arts, music, painting, dance and so much more. There's something for everyone. Medieval Fair , April 5-7 - Also in Norman, held each year since 1977, you can partake of the days of yore as you rub elbows with the King's Court, enjoy jousting, jugglers, and other medieval fun. Chomp on a turkey leg, or test your skills with axe throwing. There's fun, games and plenty to experience with the whole family. Stillwater Arts Festival, April 20-21 - This annual event near our Stillwater communities - Boardwalk Estates, The Canyons, and Tradan Heights - has grown from a small local art show to a premier juried spring festival event featuring outstanding artists, food, and live music. Conquer the Gauntlet Obstacle Race, April 6 - Just a few miles from Marble Leaf and Valencia in Edmond, you can visit Mitch Park and try your hand at this exciting adventure race featuring 25 different obstacles. Prepare to get muddy and wet, and have a ball. Rose State College Powwow, April 13 - This amazing immersion into Native American culture happens in Midwest City just a short distance from our Sundance community. At this lively festival you will enjoy traditional colorful dances, browse through arts and crafts, take in live music and indulge in a free traditional dinner.
