On the hunt for gameday parking ...
Your tickets are in hand for the opening kickoff of football season and now it’s all about getting to the stadium and finding a parking space – any parking space! Gameday parking can be a problem in any college town, and it usually isn’t cheap. Plan on leaving your house early to miss as much of the traffic as possible, although that’s probably only a dream!
Parking at the Palace
OU Gaylord Family—Oklahoma Memorial Stadium
For game day in Norman, be sure to check the WAZE app online to plan your route. There are always road closures that will impede your progress if you don’t use a real-time traffic app. WAZE will provide real-time traffic and directions right to your designated parking lot. Other smartphone maps or turn-by-turn navigation will not show gameday road closures, so you might end up in a jam.
- General public parking
Public parking is limited on the main campus on game days. Fans are encouraged to arrive early.
For paid parking lot locations, refer to the Game Day Parking Map on soonersports.com. There is a $30 fee for parking, and spaces are allocated on a first-come-first-served basis. The City of Norman enforces parking restrictions on all streets on game days. Many churches, businesses, and homeowners around campus sell parking as well.
Free game day parking is also available at the Lloyd Noble Center (about one mile south of the stadium). The regular shuttle from Lloyd Noble to the stadium runs continuously, starting three hours prior to game time until one hour after the game. The cost to ride is $5 per round trip, and masks are required.
- Disability parking and shuttle
Reserved physical disability parking is available for a fee and is located in the Asp Avenue parking facility connected to the west side of the stadium.
The disability shuttle originates at the Lloyd Noble Center and unloads on Asp Avenue, immediately west of the stadium by Gates 1-4. This shuttle is restricted to those patrons with a disability and one caretaker for riders needing additional assistance. The cost is $5 per round trip. Masks are required for all riders.
For more information about physical disability parking services, call the CART office at 405-325-2278.

- ADA/mobility parking
There is a designated parking lot for disability parking, which is provided on a first-come, first-served basis. A valid state ADA placard must be displayed, and the permit-holder must be present in the vehicle upon entry to park in the ADA parking area. Additional ADA/mobility parking with shuttle service to the stadium is located on the first level of the OSU parking garage. Shuttle service is available to assist in transport to the stadium beginning three hours prior to kick-off. Return shuttles begin at the 4th quarter of the game. The pick-up and drop-off point for passengers is located at the OSU Multimodal Transportation Terminal located directly south of the Monroe Street Parking Garage.
- Park and ride
Another option is to catch the shuttle at 7th and Lewis in downtown Stillwater for free, round-trip service to the stadium starting two hours before the game and continuing until 30 minutes after kick-off. Shuttles will resume in the 3rd quarter and continue for a minimum of 30 minutes postgame, or until lines are gone. Masks may be required.
- Park for a cause
Support local causes and organizations when you park at certain locations around Stillwater. Donations run about $20 and benefit various organizations. Click on the OSU Game Day Guide for specific locations.
