 Students who live in Valencia can attend either Deer Creek or Edmond Public schools, depending on the area where their home is located. Both school districts are widely recognized as being among the best in Oklahoma. Deer Creek Schools Home to one of six Oklahoma 2017 Blue Ribbon Schools, Deer Creek Public Schools serves students in northwest Oklahoma City and Edmond. Edmond Public Schools The Edmond School District has 11 National Blue Ribbon Schools of Excellence, the most of any district in Oklahoma. Programs for Gifted & Talented Students From elementary through high school, Edmond offers gifted and talented programs for students whose intellectual, creative, leadership or visual arts/performing arts abilities require differentiated programs for the full development of their talents and abilities. Athletic Tradition of Success In the past 11 years alone, Edmond schools have acquired 84 OSSAA state athletic championships.
