Supporting Our Community

Giving back is just a part of who we are at Ideal Homes & Neighborhoods. The company and individuals at Ideal have made incredible impacts in our communities over the past 30 years through both large and small projects alike, but Ideal is always looking for a more intentional way to give back.

We’ve found one of the best ways to find worthy organizations in need is to go straight to our employees. The Ideal team is plugged into the communities we build and serve and are involved in incredible charitable organizations. Ideal team members often come together to support organizations with volunteer hours and skilled labor.

One of the most recent volunteer efforts was at Cross and Crown Mission and Christian Service Center in Oklahoma City, founded by a family member of Vice President of Sales Lane Slovacek. Ronda McKown, Ideal Homes community outreach, was quick to offer a helping hand to this organization that supports community members in need of housing, food, and services. 

More than 40 Ideal team members and their families volunteered for the worthwhile project:

• Organized food and built food boxes for displaced families and individuals
• Built, sorted and cleaned furniture and bicycles
• Sorted and organized clothing 
• Construction on the church
• Yard work at the school across the street, the parsonage and three homes owned by the mission

Everyone went home exhausted but with hearts full of joy. Ideal Homes & Neighborhoods is committed to building ideal places to live and work in and beyond the neighborhoods we develop.
